Located in the Vilcabamba mountain range, at the foot of the Humantay mountain, is the fascinating lagoon of the same name, at an altitude of 5,473 meters and the second highest in the Cusco region, which in recent years has become a destination for hikers visiting southern Peru.

“Discover a Destination with Crystal Clear Waters!”
Our adventure begins with a hotel pick-up between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m.
After a 3-hour journey, we’ll make a stop in the town of Mollepata, located at 2,900 meters above sea level, where a hearty breakfast awaits. Continuing our journey in our transportation for 45 minutes, we’ll arrive in the town of Soraypampa, situated at 3,900 meters above sea level. Here, we’ll embark on a 1.5-hour hike, ascending to 4,200 meters above sea level to witness the stunning lagoon. Our guide will share the legends and myths of this magnificent place. Afterward, we’ll begin our descent to return to our transportation, which will take us back to Mollepata.
In Mollepata, we’ll savor a delicious lunch at 2:30 p.m. Finally, we’ll make our way back to the city of Cusco, arriving around 6:00 p.m. at the Plaza de Regocijo.
