The Mountain of 7 Colors (also called Vinicunca or simply “Rainbow Mountain”) is one of Peru’s newest and best attractions. Located more than 100 kilometers from the city of Cusco, on an altitude peak located at 5,200 meters above sea level (m.a.s.l.)

“An Incredibly Colorful Adventure Awaits!”
The adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in the historic center, between 4:30 and 5:00 am. After a 2-hour drive, we make a stop in the village of Chillihuani (Cusipata) to enjoy a delicious, hot breakfast.
We’ll continue our journey in our vehicle for 45 minutes, reaching the starting point of the hike. The hike covers 7 km round trip, taking us to the point where the Rainbow Mountains and the Ausangate snow-capped peak meet at an altitude of 5033 meters above sea level.
Subsequently, we’ll commence the descent and head to the village of Chillihuani, where we’ll have lunch at 13:00 hrs. Finally, we’ll return to the city of Cusco, specifically to the Plaza de Regocijo, around 17h.
