Palcoyo Mountain is very similar to the famous Vinicunca Mountain with 7 colors and that is why we know that for some travelers it is somewhat difficult to decide which mountain to go to when they are in Cusco. Now, to help you with this decision, which is very important, we will describe the reasons why Palcoyo should be included in your tour list.

“Another Way to Witness the 7 Colors!”
We kick off your adventure with a hotel pick-up between 4:30 and 5:00 am.
Our journey takes us to the Palcoyo community. During this 3-hour drive, we’ll make a brief stop at our tourist restaurant for breakfast. Afterward, we’ll embark on a 45-minute hike to the first viewpoint at 4900 meters above sea level, where you can admire the Palcoyo mountain range. Following some free time to soak in the view, we’ll continue along the trail, passing through the stone forest, and begin our descent back to the starting point.
We’ll then hop back into our transportation for the return trip to the town of Cusipata, where a delightful lunch awaits. Finally, we’ll make our way back to the city of Cusco, arriving around 17h near the Plaza de Armas.
