Departure at 7:00 a.m. in group tourist transport, the first visit is to the archaeological site of Chinchero, 30 km from the city of Cusco, the town is an Inca textile center where we will learn about the wool process and its pigmentation. We continue to the archaeological site of Moray, Inca agricultural research center where crop experiments were carried out at different heights, then we will continue to the salt mines of Maras, which is made up of more than 3,000 natural salt wells, each of the wells have a dimension of 5 square meters. The 3,000 pools are fed by an underground hypersaline spring that originated 110 million years ago during the formation of the mountains of the Andes Mountains a break and Buffet Lunch, we continue 30 minutes on the road to the town of Ollantaytambo we visit this archaeological site which is the temple of the llama, and we board the train (departure 16:36) that leads us to Aguas Calientes town of Machupicchu. Hotel included and dinner at the client’s expense, we will have a briefing at the hotel with our specialist guide in Machupicchu, with whom we will visit the next day.
After breakfast, we commence our journey to Machu Picchu from Aguas Calientes, which involves a 1 hour and 30-minute uphill walk (bus ride is optional). We enter the Machu Picchu Sanctuary at 8:00 a.m., beginning the group tour with our expert Machu Picchu guide, lasting approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to cover the complete circuit 1, 2, 3, and 4. Following this, you’ll have free time to enjoy the site and take photographs.
We then return to Aguas Calientes, where you can explore the village at your leisure and have lunch on your own. At 2:30 p.m., we board the train for the journey back to Ollantaytambo, which takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Our tourist transportation will be ready to transport us to the city of Cusco.
We arrive in Cusco at San Francisco Square at 19h.
