Manu National Park is a nature reserve and UNESCO World Heritage site located between the highlands of the Andes and the Amazon rainforest in Peru. What should you bring
Early in the morning, pick up from your hotel in Cusco, to start our journey through the Andean mountains, beautiful landscapes, folk rural communities such as Paucartambo and Ninamarca (chullpas or burial tombs) which belong to the pre-Inca culture LUPACAS. We will leave early in the morning by boat which will take us to La Collpa de parrot, 20 minutes from the Camp. Observation of exotic parrots and blue-headed macaws. The show is impressive both in its visual and auditory aspects, then we return to the lodge to have breakfast, then we will take a walk to the waterfall (Amaru Mayu) during the walk we can observe a variety of monkeys in the area, birds and medicinal plants. After lunch, we will board the boat that will take us back on the river to our next camp, to arrive at the lodge, we will cross fruit and vegetable plantations, such as tangerines, lemons, bananas, yucca, cocoa, avocado. , jungle bread, chirimolla, let’s taste some of these fruits to finally reach our comfortable rooms, free time at night to track the tapirs in search of tarantulas and snakes.
After breakfast, we will cross the river in the boat where our tourist transport awaits us, which will take us to the imperial city of Cusco, again crossing the cloud forest, enjoying all the species of the area.
